On Tuesday, January 28th, the hospitality industry gathered at The Galmont Hotel & Spa in Galway for a spectacular gala awards ceremony hosted by Anton Savage. From the moment she first stepped into Headfort, Therese has been the heart and soul of our hospitality. Beginning her journey in payroll and accounts, she quickly found herself drawn to the front line of service, where her warmth and charm made her a guest favourite. In fact, her impact has been so profound that our beloved café, Café Therese, was named in her honour!

Therese has become a familiar face to guests far and wide. Whether it’s a first-time visitor or a returning regular, she always remembers a name, an interest, or a reason for travel. This personal touch has left a lasting impression on countless guests, who often return just to be greeted by her welcoming smile.
Her dedication was already recognized in 2023 when she received an award at the Meath Style Awards for her significant contribution to local business. However, this latest accolade solidifies her place as one of Ireland’s most respected hospitality professionals.
